Most waxing in the area is squeezed in between haircuts. Here, waxing is skin care, provided
in a private clinical suite by an esthetician who knows skin.
Licensed esthetician Mariah Ranallo. Mariah reads your skin before she starts and adjusts for sensitivity, retinol use, and hair type.
Private, quiet rooms. No salon chair, no hair dryers, no audience.
Gentle technique for sensitive areas. Hard wax for brows, face, underarms, and bikini — it grips the hair, not the skin.
Clean every time. Fresh applicator for every dip, single-use supplies, sanitized room between every client.
Aftercare that keeps skin calm. Every service ends with a calming finish and a plan to keep skin smooth, including BushBalm products you can take home.
Pair it with a facial. Brow wax plus a Biohacking Express Facial with NAD+ in one visit.
Licensed esthetician Mariah Ranallo has been waxing and caring for skin for 11+ years and specializes in first-time and sensitive-skin clients.

Quick skin check. Mariah asks about medications, retinol, and sensitivity so your skin is protected.
The wax. Warm wax, steady pressure, and quick removal — Mariah talks you through every step.
Soothe and calm. A cooling finish to settle redness.
Leave with a plan. When to come back, how to care for your skin, and which Bushbalm product fits your skin. Book your next wax before you leave. Regulars at 4–6 weeks find each visit quicker and easier.

Ingrown Hair Exfoliating Scrub. A sugar scrub blended with grapeseed, jojoba, and tea tree oil. Buffs away the dead skin that traps hair, so it grows out instead of in.
Roller Rescue Soothing Serum. A lightweight AHA/BHA serum with aloe in a cooling stainless-steel rollerball. Helps smooth rough texture and improves the look of redness, bumps, and ingrown hairs after hair removal. Fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and made for sensitive skin.
Radiant Reset Exfoliating Toner Pads. Alcohol-free swipe-on pads that help smooth and brighten the look of skin. Safe for the bikini line, underarms, and full body.
How to use: Start 24-48 hours after your wax. Use the scrub 2–3 times a week. On other days, use Roller Rescue or Radiant Reset. Pick one per day, since both are exfoliants and layering them can irritate skin.
Pick up your Bushbalm at your appointment - ask Mariah which one fits your skin.
• Let hair grow to about 1/4 inch — roughly the length of a grain of rice (about 2–3 weeks after shaving).
• Skip exfoliating, tanning, and self-tanner for 24–48 hours before.
• Using retinol, tretinoin, or acne medication? Tell us before a face wax.
• Arrive with clean, lotion-free skin.
There's a quick sting, but it's brief. Hard wax, steady technique, and an esthetician who works efficiently keep it as comfortable as possible. It gets easier with regular appointments.
Most clients stay smooth for 3–5 weeks, depending on how fast their hair grows.
Every 4–6 weeks. Staying on a regular schedule keeps hair growth in sync, so each wax is quicker and more comfortable.
Not here. Rooms are private, Mariah walks you through each step, and you stay covered for everything except the area being waxed.
Tell us when you book. Retinoids and some acne medications make skin more fragile, so we may skip face waxing or adjust the service. Recent isotretinoin (Accutane) use rules out waxing for at least six months.
Yes. Skin can be a little more sensitive, and a tampon or cup is recommended for bikini services.
Yes — back, chest, brows, and more.
Exfoliate regularly so hair can grow out freely. The Bushbalm Ingrown Hair Exfoliating Scrub plus Roller Rescue Soothing Serum is the combination we recommend most.
Wait 24–48 hours. Freshly waxed follicles are open and more prone to irritation.
